Senior Programme/Project Manager (Infrastructure / Azure) – Insurance
Our sister company Stellarmann is supporting a London Market insurer as they launch a large-scale Optimisation Programme spanning multiple infrastructure and cloud workstreams. This initiative focuses on enhancing their Azure estate, improving governance and security, and driving cost optimisation across the technology landscape.
This is a key consulting engagement focused on programme mobilisation, discovery, and delivery leadership across several complex technical workstreams. You will work closely with senior technology stakeholders, architects, engineers, and third-party vendors to shape and deliver a critical transformation roadmap.
We are looking for:
• Senior Programme Manager or very hands-on Senior Project Manager with experience managing 6–8 concurrent infrastructure workstreams
• Proven delivery experience across Infrastructure, Cloud, or Azure programmes (not governance-only)
• Strong experience leading discovery phases across Cloud, Azure, security, and networking environments
• Comfortable operating close to technical detail while managing end-to-end delivery
• Demonstrable experience in roadmap creation, planning, governance frameworks, and delivery execution
• Strong capability managing RAID logs, budgets, dependencies, and resources
• Experience running RFPs, procurement processes, and vendor selection
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, security teams, and suppliers
• Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• Experience working in Insurance or Financial Services
This is an Outside IR35 contract opportunity, paying a competitive day rate on an initial 6-month term with strong extension potential and requires 2 days per week in their London office.
