Overview:
Our sister company Stallarmann are supporting a major insurance client in building a new Azure-based data platform. We are seeking a Data/Reporting Consultant to operate at the foundation level, ensuring future reporting needs are embedded into platform design, data models, and architecture. This is not a report-building role; instead, you will shape how reporting is enabled in the new environment.

This is not a report-building role; instead, you will shape how reporting is enabled in the new environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate legacy reporting requirements into future-state data and semantic models
- Bridge the gap between DWH, curated data models, and final reporting outputs
- Analyse 30 existing reports to inform and guide platform design
- Support architecture, modelling, PoCs, and low-level design decisions
- Ensure reporting requirements are accurately reflected across the Azure data platform
- Assess and document data lineage, transformations, and reporting dependencies
Key Skills & Experience needed:
- Expertise in data modelling and semantic layer design
- Solid SQL and traditional DWH background (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
- Experience with modern Azure data platforms (Databricks, Unity Catalog, Medallion architecture)
- Strong Power BI and DAX experience
- Technical Business Analysis skills (data lineage, impact analysis)
- Experience transforming legacy dashboards and reporting environments
- Insurance / London Market (Lloyd’s) knowledge is essential
