Cyber Security Consultant - Insurance
Our client, a London Market Insurer is recruiting a Cyber Security Consultant to join a dynamic team. You'll play a key role in providing assessment, security controls, security design assessment and liaising with technical teams to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Our client, a London Market Insurer is recruiting a Cyber Security Consultant to join a dynamic team. You'll play a key role in providing assessment, security controls, security design assessment and liaising with technical teams to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading security assurance, assessments, and advisory across both cloud-based and on-premises IT and business projects, in alignment with NIST 800-53 standards.
- Collaborating with security architecture and cross-functional teams to define and implement effective security controls and design patterns.
- Defining non-functional security requirements and ensuring their integration into solution architectures.
- Performing in-depth security risk assessments and providing actionable mitigation strategies.
- Advising and influencing stakeholders to remediate non-compliant processes and improve security posture.
- Supporting the delivery and rollout of key global and regional security initiatives.
- Managing business-as-usual (BAU) activities, including incident handling, service requests, and change management.
- Experienced security analyst/engineer/consultant
- Good understanding of network security
- Experience in providing advice in security and design approach
- Essential Azure experience (AWS or GCP is nice to have)
- Insurance is highly desirable (not essential)
